We welcome all middle school, high school, and college students looking to fulfill their community service hours to help our shelter! There are many ways to get involved in our mission and earn hours at the same time, and these opportunities aren't limited to performing tasks at our shelter alone.
On site volunteering
Please see our opportunities page to find out more about what you can do to earn your hours. Make sure you let us know that you'd like to volunteer to complete school service hours, and we'd be happy to have you help us out!
At Home student projects
This opportunity doesn't require you to come on site except to drop off your creations (or you can even ship them to us), but we'd love for volunteers to help make dog chews, catnip filled toys, and dog toys for our animals. If you're looking to complete community service hours, 5 toys = 1 hour of service and 1 batch of chews = 1 hour of service! These are great projects for school clubs. Once your items are donated, we'd be happy to sign off a certain number of volunteer hours!
