Rescue Missions

Every 2 weeks or so, we rescue dogs and cats from horrendous situations and from the streets of Mexico. Some of the dogs we rescue have been abandoned, come from hoarding situations, backyard breeders, and have endured lives of abuse. Others who are a little luckier have lived lives as street dogs but are the most lovable, loyal dogs once you get to know them. We believe that there's a home for every dog out there, and we'll take care of them for however long they need. The photos above are of Sable and her puppy Turbo, who were chained up in a back corner in Tijuana and were very emaciated, ridden with worms and fleas, and scared when they first came to us. They have both found their perfect, forever homes and will never have to endure suffering again!

Many other dogs are pulled from high-kill LA Animal Control centers on their last days, and we're able to save them from their fate of euthanasia. A little love, grooming, work with our volunteers, and beautiful photos can make all the difference in saving an animal's life!

In midst of kitten season, we're getting many inquiries about abandoned kittens or about cats at home who are pregnant and have kittens on the way. We're setting up a kitten program to help combat the homeless kitten population and help educate people about the importance of spay and neuter, but if you're in need of good homes for kittens, don't hesitate to contact us to see how we can help.
