Foster Application

We are in HUGE need of fosters for kittens, adult cats, high-energy dogs, senior cats and dogs, and special needs/medical needs animals.

Most of our animals are housed at our rescue location, however fosters help us to increase our capacity so that we can save more animals as well as reduce the stress on animals who don’t do well within the shelter environment.

Fostering means taking care of an animal temporarily in your home until they find a forever home or are ready for adoption! You do not have to commit for a long period of time, though we do ask that fosters try to keep their fosters in their care for at least 1 month to help make sure the animals aren’t stressed from jumping around too often. All supplies and veterinary care are paid for and coordinated through us.

To foster, you must be 18 years of age, be willing to house cats strictly indoors and dogs as primarily indoor dogs (no leaving them outdoors!). You do not have to have experience with owning animals, but it is highly recommended though we will work with you to match an animal to you and your home. You must also commit to bringing the animal to the rescue or vet’s office when requested (with advanced notice).
