Dog Day Trips 🐾

Our dogs are excited for you to take them on a day trip! Our pups are often feeling pretty cooped up in the shelter despite volunteers walking them regularly. Some dogs have been in the shelter for many months; we try to get those long-time residents into foster homes, but sometimes there just aren’t enough foster homes. Day trips make these dogs so happy!

Bring them to the park, a dog park, a dog beach, the pet store, or even just home to play with them! This can be a very rewarding and fun experience for all parties. We even have friend groups that take 2-4 dogs out (one dog per person) together and make it a weekend activity!

We will provide you with:
• blankets for your car
• a crate if needed
• harness / leash, poop bags
• water bowls, treats

We recommend dog experience, but if you have never owned one before, we can give you a very easygoing dog to take out.
